Wellwood Nature Preserve is located in Alaska's Copper River Country, east of Anchorage and north of Valdez. It is found at Mile 5.75 on the Edgerton Highway, the main access road into Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. The Nature Preserve is over 110 acres in size. Come and explore its trails, observe its wildlife and plants, enjoy its meandering stream, and photograph its beauty.
